Dr. Ahmed Kamal has been practicing in our area since 2017 and graduated from the Mustansiriya University School of Dentistry in 2005, and then later graduated from the New York Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2016. He lived in Iraq, where he served his community for seven years at his dental practice, before moving to the United States. He is passionate about providing our patients with the best possible care by continuing his dental education three times a year.

Dr. Kamal had dental training in Iraq, where he was enrolled in a surgical residency for three years focused on treating different kinds of impacted teeth, extractions and implants. After moving to the states, he received advanced training in dental implants from the California Implant Institute and the Arizona Brighter Way Institute, where he trained for surgical and prosthetic implant treatments, including simple and complicated cases and full mouth rehabilitation with All-on-4® implants. He has also had training in North Carolina and Texas in IV moderate sedation for patients who feel anxious during dental treatments. His training has also brought him to New York, where he learned how to treat patients who have simple to moderate sleep apnea and where he attended two courses of cosmetic dentistry focused on treating difficult smile makeover cases, with beautiful results.

Dr. Kamal is part of the American Dental Association®, the Virginia Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Academy of General Dentistry.

His goal as a dentist is to create an environment where patients feel treated like family and to help them become absolutely happy with the results of their treatment. Dr. Kamal wants to deliver a guarantee of satisfaction by offering unique care for the best results. He wants our patients to know that we will be responsible not only for the end result of the treatment, but for the for the long-term outcome. His priorities are to have a warm reception for our patients as soon as they come through the door, provide painless treatment and have our patients leave our clinic with wonderfully beautiful smiles.

Dr. Kamal is glad to have a supportive family that always has his back and is happy to share this support with his dental family and patients.

When not in office, Dr. Kamal enjoys swimming, reading, traveling, going to the theaters, watching sports and educating himself on new dental techniques.

Jessica graduated from both high school and Dental Careers 1 & 2 in 1999. She completed her dental X-ray certification in 1998 and became a Licensed Massage Therapist through the Board of Nursing in 2013. She joined our team in May 2016, bringing with her more than 20 years of experience in the dental field. Jessica has worked as a dental assistant, a front desk associate and in office management. She is a team player and enjoys the genuinely caring environment of our office and the rapport she has developed with our dentists and team.

Jessica is a mother of two, one son and one daughter. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with and caring for her family.

I started with the practice in January 2005. To me it’s more than just a dental practice, it’s like a second family with the close bonds that we have with each other and our patients both in/outside of the office.

Having 18 years’ experience in the dental field I feel I can help provide a great service to my patients.

My hobbies include watching my daughter play softball, reading and family game nights.
